Dr. Brian Petrovsky was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona until he left to pursue his professional education. He graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City and a small animal surgery residency at Iowa State University.

Dr. Petrovsky enjoys all aspects of orthopedics and sports medicine, working to match each patient's treatment to their specific needs. Brian's areas of interest are arthroscopy, fracture management, minimally invasive orthopedics and sports medicine. He was instrumental in expanding Iowa State University's minimally invasive orthopedic surgery department. He wishes to combine his love of research with clinical care to make a meaningful contribution to the field of veterinary surgery. Brian is passionate about offering the highest level of care for his patients and their owners.

Besides spending time with his wife, Kalie, he enjoys camping, culinary adventures, sports, traveling, and hiking with his Boxer, Fin. "Smush-faced" dog-lovers through and through, his Phoenix family members have five Boxers all together!

Dr. Petrovsky is honored for the opportunity to learn and collaborate with the experienced team at ACOSM. Dr. Petrovsky is motivated to work hard and give back to a community that has already been so generous to him.
